We have been keeping occupied, just not occupied writing blogs!  So, here is what we’ve been up to:

Celebrating Merry’s birthday for the 3rd or so time (this time with her friend Caroline)

Spending time with Uncle Johnny when he has long weekends or holidays

“Learning to drive” on the Wii Mario Kart

Goofing around  the house (it’s been pretty cold outside)

Smiling because our taxes are done and filed before we head out to visit the FREEZING state of Ohio for Jeremy to get laser eye surgery done.

awh i am excited that you have a new blog today!s it was so nice to be able to spend some time with you and your lovely children today! i have missed you all very much and just left your house with the biggest smile, because you are all such a joy to be around.
i love the pic of merry’s cake! it looks so fun! and i love the picture of your brother and the kids. i didn’t know what to expect but he was very pilot the day i stopped to see you all before merry’s birthday! i love mario kart, and actually bought it for christmas because of how much fun i had at your house when we played! the picture of merry is so gorgeous! and i love seeing how much she has grown and changed in the last year that we have known each other! AND elijah, always comes and hugs me now, which is something that means a lot to me because it took him a long time to warm up to me 🙂 and i love your little family pic you took today!

i wish all the best luck with going to ohio! and know that i will miss all of the family! enjoy time with jeremy’s family!

You all look great and it makes me miss you so much! I enjoyed our time together the 5 short months we lived 5 hours away from you. The kids have grown so much, it really shows in Merry. As I nurse Faith and she is so busy, she stops to check things out, I remember so clearly Merry at that age doing the same thing, and now you have another blessing we have never even met. This is the part I don’t like of the military is missing family. Take Elijah sledding for me, just watch out for those horeshoe poles! Send our love to all and our best wishes for perfect vision, I hear it’s great!!! Love you!!!

I need to write a post like this too:) I LOVED hearing about your road trip. Laura threw up 3 times on our way to Mom and Dad’s for Christmas–not fun.
