“The LORD is good to all, And His mercies are over all His works. All Your works shall give thanks to You, O LORD, And Your godly ones shall bless You. They shall speak of the glory of Your kingdom And talk of Your power; To make known to the sons of men Your mighty acts And the glory of the majesty of Your kingdom.” Psalm 145:9-12
I found this on the back of our van today when Jeremy picked me up from the airport after a weekend trip:
In just over a month, Jeremy will leave the Air Force active duty after 13 years of service to our great country. I am thankful for the time God has had us in the military, but will be also thankful to move onto the next season in our family’s life.
May 31st will be Jeremy’s last day of full-time active duty work, as his terminal leave will start. We will say our goodbyes to sweet and dear friends we have grown to love here, and drive to Louisville, Kentucky, the city we will call “home” for probably the next 2 to 3 years. Jeremy will be attending graduate school at Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, with the goal of obtaining his Master’s of Divinity with a concentration in Worldview and Apologetics.
Please pray for us as we make the move, specifically for a living arrangement. We have options, but REALLY want to live on campus in family housing there. We are on the waiting list, and not too far down, but the timing of things is very crucial, especially with Jeremy starting summer classes and the military moving us from here. One of us will most likely be seeking some sort of part-time employment, so prayers are also appreciated for the right job also.
